1. Purpose & Commitment

At De Vere Brilliance Limited (Trading as De Vere Brilliance), we are dedicated to creating the most beautiful laboratory-grown diamond jewellery in the world. Our diamonds are cultivated in high-tech laboratories using clean energy and advanced processes that replicate the natural growth of diamonds, without the destructive social and environmental impacts associated with traditional diamond mining.

This Responsible Sourcing Policy sets out our principles and requirements to ensure that every material, component, and service in our supply chain upholds the highest standards of ethics, sustainability, human rights, and transparency.

We believe responsible sourcing is fundamental to our promise of delivering jewellery that is both luxurious and aligned with the values of modern consumers.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All laboratory-grown diamond suppliers, including growers, cutters, polishers, and certifying laboratories.

  • All precious metal suppliers, including refiners and workshops.

  • All jewellery manufacturing partners, including setting, finishing, and packaging providers.

  • All employees and contractors involved in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain oversight.

3. Our Standards

De Vere Brilliance Limited (Trading as De Vere Brilliance) expects all suppliers and partners to adhere to the following principles:

a. Human Rights & Labour

  • No forced, bonded, or child labour at any stage.

  • Fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to freedom of association.

  • Respect for human dignity, diversity, and non-discrimination.

b. Environmental Responsibility

  • Laboratory-grown diamond suppliers must demonstrate use of certified renewable or non-fossil-fuel energy sources wherever possible.

  • Efforts to reduce carbon footprint, water usage, and waste in all production processes.

  • Precious metals must come from recycled or responsibly certified sources (e.g. Fairmined, Fairtrade, RJC CoC).

c. Ethical Business Conduct

  • Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or fraudulent certification.

  • Transparent business practices with accurate and accessible documentation.

  • Compliance with all relevant international laws, sanctions, and trade regulations.

d. Traceability & Verification

  • Full traceability of all laboratory-grown diamonds from point of creation through to finished jewellery.

  • Third-party certification of diamonds (e.g. IGI, GIA, GCAL or equivalent) to guarantee quality, authenticity, and grading integrity.

  • Independent audits and/or self-assessment questionnaires to verify compliance with this policy.

4. Supplier Requirements

All suppliers working with De Vere Brilliance Limited (Trading as De Vere Brilliance) must:

  1. Acknowledge and comply with this Responsible Sourcing Policy.

  2. Sign and adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct.

  3. Provide evidence of compliance, including certification, audit reports, or sustainability disclosures.

  4. Cooperate with monitoring, site visits, or audits when requested.

  5. Implement corrective actions promptly if non-compliance is identified.
